Inspiration ~ Garden Party

We love the colorful, layered look of this pretty inspiration shoot sent to us by our friends at Gayle Brooker Photography, styled by Easton Events and shot at the William Aiken House in Charleston, SC.

The location itself is oozing with charm but when paired with lovely florals, textured linens, colorful china and delicate details, it's downright sweet. Enjoy!

A Southern Bucket

What's more Southern than monograms and burlap? That's why we couldn't wait to introduce you to A Southern Bucket, where you'll find a slew of charming Southern accents for your event, complete with personalization.

As mother to two creative little girls, shop owner Suzanne Bowman was inspired to "make beautiful things". She was searching for the perfect baby gift for her best friend's baby shower, when she thought, "What would be more useful than a bucket full of baby things?" It was a great idea, but she thought it might be a little too simple. She added burlap wrapping and her friend's baby's monogram, giving her gift a delightful prettiness.

"I have always been enamored with simple textures like burlap and galvanized metal," explains Suzanne, "so I married the two together and added a beautiful monogram. I now had a meaningful gift ready to fill with baby necessities and hopefully a treasured keepsake for her baby." Suzanne's gift was so well received that it inspired her to create her shop, A Southern Bucket, for brides. "I think every bride looks forward to seeing her new monogram and what better way to use it than for wedding decor, or to receive a charming, practical gift with her new wedding monogram?"

A Southern Bucket offers a full line of personalized burlap accessories for weddings, showers and gifts for the newlywed couple. We've included images of a few of our favorite pieces below, but visit ;A Southern Bucket to pick out your own. From monogrammed buckets to burlap covered candles, table runners, and chair markers, you'll find an array of Southern pretties at A Southern Bucket.

Three Trees Bindery

We've all seen the traditional guest books and albums at weddings - the delicate ivory color, the padded covers, the gold pens. It can get a little predictable, which is why we absolutely love this twist on a classic guest book or photo album by Three Trees Bindery!

Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, designer Michelle Skiba creates unique guest books, photo albums and blank journals, and offers her creations in her Etsy shop, Three Trees Bindery. A small bookbinding studio specializing in wood covered books, albums and journals, Three Trees Bindery creates heirloom quality memory books that can be customized for your wedding or special event.

Using wood and other natural materials each book is hand-bound with high quality papers, Irish linen thread and exposed stitching. The wooden covers are crafted from cuts of black walnut, mahogany, cherry, maple and birch bark. The books can be personalized for your special occasion with engraving, monograms, carving or with names and a date, hand stamped on a silver, brass or copper plate. Elegant and full of character, these books are made to last a lifetime.

Just take a look at the images below and you'll see why we adore these extraordinary bindings!

1920s Inspiration

We're so excited to share this amazing styled photo shoot inspired by the 1920s, sent to us by the talented photographer, Lesley Isacks. Photographed on location at Gulfside Trail Rides Stables in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, the styling is exquisite and beautifully captures the spirit of the era. The blend of glamorous fashion with sweet design elements, pretty florals and the rustic barn setting is both sophisticated and charming.

Don't miss the lovely milk glass cake stand and the farmhouse table topped by a ruffled runner and a centerpiece gathering of wildflowers in vintage glass and driftwood. The aged door is a perfect focal point for the ceremony, with covered bales of hay for seating. We especially love the fashion with gorgeous pearl necklaces and fantastic dresses. We also love all the hats, suspenders and bowties on the guys. Enjoy!!
