What to Wear {Entwined Rehearsal Dinner}

The big rehearsal dinner for Entwined winners Annie and Tyler is quickly approaching. The inspiration for the dinner is all about French boutique-y sophistication with pops of color and metallic accents. So, I thought I could give the guests an idea on what to wear for the celebration! Can't wait for 3.30.2012.

Guests should totally wear:

Party {Bread and Circus Supper Club}

Mariah at Palm Door in Austin invited me to help out with the decor for their Seven Deadly Sins dinner for the Bread and Circus Supper Cluba monthly pop-up restaurant that features a seasonal, locally-sourced menu. It was tons of fun and I even saw my first burlesque performance!

Below are a few photos from the event by Paige Newton Photography.

Two Ways {Valentine's Day}

First up, we have one of my favorite palettes for V-Day: pink and gold! I know you are all completely shocked! Pink and gold will always be one of my favorite combinations - they just balance each other so nicely. Plus, might I add, I really, really love the arrow motif! So fun and whimsical.

Next we have the more traditional V-Day palette of red, pink, and white. I also think red and pink suit each other very nicely. This will always bring me back to classic V-Day nostalgia and that classroom party or two.

We are super excited to have our V-Day party styled shoot featured on one of the cutest party inspiration blogs around, Somewhere Splendid, today! We are so honored because we have serious blog envy of this well-designed, clean, and simple blog. I guess it's called blog love. Very appropriate for Valentine's Day. Check out the post here!

P.S. Maddy, the author of Somewhere Splendid, also created one of our favorite wedding blogs, The Inspired Bride. Double awesome.

We had a lovely team of ladies collaborating on this shoot. Be sure to check out the vendor list at the end of this post.

Favors are fun!

Not only are favors a great way to thank your guests for celebrating your big day with you, they also provide a great design opportunity to incorporate your theme, vision, personality, colors, and/or monogram into your event! Super cute packaging adds that "something special" and takes your event to the next level.
