Dessert at a wedding or party doesn't need to be a stock standard affair. I'm an in loooove with ice cream and popsicles - they are easy, super fun and they remind me of being a kid! For our own wedding the Big A and I had a gelato cart for dessert and it was a big hit. So tell me, would you serve up a fun ice cream or popsicle bar as a dessert alternative?

Chic Industrial Wedding Vases
The weekend is nearly here and that is the perfect time to get some wedding decoration DIY sorted. I'm loving this vignette as inspiration for an industrial styled wedding. Simply take an array of tins and spray paint in glorious metallics. Source complimentary accessories in white and you have yourself a budget friendly but totally chic industrial wedding vase.

One Day I Am Going To Move To America.....
One of our dreams, which hopefully will become a reality at some point in our lives is for The Big A and I live in America. And when we do I pretty much want to own a home just like this - A simple cottage full of character with a white picket fence and an American flag hanging out the front. As soon as I saw this beauty I knew it was love and I dragged the Big A away from watching the Formula 1 so we could both oooh and aahhh over just how perfect this home is. My favourite has got to the be the master bedroom - can't you imagine reading the papers whilst lounging around in bed in here? Well a girl can dream can't she?! hehe.

The first thing I think about when I have guests over for dinner
For some reason as soon as I know we are having guests for dinner I start obsessing over name tags. Ah yes that's right - name tags. Not what we are going to eat or what wine we'll drink instead I get caught up in the little details which to me, give a dinner a personal touch which guests know is going to be a special non run of the mill night. I love how this dinner party was made oh so festive with the inclusion of a name tag in a fun pink was presented over half a lemon. The feel is festive, bright and personal. So my dear readers, what name tag tricks do you use when you have guests over?

A Mindy Weiss Wedding Extravaganza
Some weddings just take your breath away and we can thank none other than Mindy Weiss for today's goodness. It's not often that I ooogle over a classic type of wedding, but I think the groom with glasses reminded me of The Big A so I just had to explore this one in more depth and boy I wasn't disappointed. This wedding is traditional, luxurious but full of warmth and love. I am obsessed with the moss detail on the tables and of course - the dress. How amazing is that train right? What do you think nf today's classic wedding?

Blogger Created Art: Jess LC and the Wells Collection
You have to love a talented blogger and I am sure you are going to love Jess LC's new Wells collection from Make Under My Life. Jess collaborated with Ampersand Design Studio to create a beautiful collection of prints that are inspiring and chic. I'm loving the minimalist design and the choice of colours - neon pink? yes please! And while we are at it, you have to check out the Wells look book - Jess collaborated with some super cool bloggers like Danielle Moss of The Everygirl and Breakfast at Toast and Liz Schneider of Sequins and Stripes to bring the posters to life. It's really good read!
